The holiday home is located in the Monteverde Nuovo district, in a quiet area surrounded by greenery.
All services are close at hand: restaurants, transport, markets and supermarkets, shops, bars and ice cream parlors.
The area is well connected with the historic center, thanks above all to the lines:
-tram "8" (which runs through Trastevere in 20 minutes to Piazza Venezia);
- bus "H", which leads through the Quirinale and the Palazzo delle Esposizioni to the Termini Station;
- bus "44", which attracts to San Giovanni di Dio (market), the Janiculum and the Mouth of Truth, leading up to the Teatro Marcello.
Nearby you can visit Villa Pamphili, Villa Sciarra, the characteristic and historic district of Trastevere,
the Gianicolo area (where it is possible to enjoy an incredible view of the city, which offers a unique and breathtaking view),
the famous Porta Portese market
(open on Sundays and easily reachable on foot or with a few tram stops).
Very close there is also a taxi rank, the largest hospital in the city (San Camillo),
and the "Trastevere" train station from which the Basilica of San Pietro and the Vatican Museums are easily accessible.
About 2 km away are the metro stations "Piramide" and "San Paolo" (line B) and "Cipro" (line A).
HOW TO REACH US :
- From Termini Station : take bus line "H" at the end of the station, and get off at the "Gianicolense-Ravizza" stop (one stop after the San Camillo hospital).
From here continue on foot taking Via Giulia di Gallese continuing straight until Via della Trasfigurazione (beyond the Piazza and the Church).
- From Fiumicino airport : it is possible to use a taxi, which can be rented on the arrival square (approximate cost for Monteverde, € 30-35),
or take the train service which at the cost of 8 euros per person takes you to the Trastevere station, where you can take the tram line "8" towards Casaletto,
and get off at the "Gianicolense-Ravizza" stop (one stop after the San Camillo hospital).
From here continue on foot taking Via Giulia di Gallese continuing straight until Via della Trasfigurazione (beyond the Piazza and the Church).

- From Ciampino airport : you can use the shuttle service to Stazione Termini, or the taxi service (approximate cost for Monteverde euro 35),

for those coming from the North , exit at the "Roma Nord" exit of the A1 motorway, direction Milan-Naples. The G.R.A. (Grande Raccordo Anulare) direction EST (Nomentana, Tiburtina, Tuscolana) to exit 30 (Fiumicino Airport) in the direction of CENTRO-EUR-MAGLIANA.
Continue to the Centro-Magliana-Trastevere exit, continue towards Isacco Newton until the second traffic light, after which turn left and go up right again (always towards Isacco Newton), taking the Rome-Fiumicino motorway again towards opposite.
After less than 100 meters exit towards Isacco Newton and continue straight until Viale dei Colli Portuensi. At the intersection with Via Giovanni Torrecremata, turn right and go up Via Bocapaduli until the intersection with Via F.Palasciano. Turn right and then right into Péiazza della Trasfigurazione.
A few meters beyond the square is Via della Trasfigurazione n. 5, your destination.
For those coming from the South , exit at the Roma Sud exit of the A1 motorway towards Naples-Milan. SI takes the G.R.A. (Grande Raccordo Anulare) direction EST (Nomentana, Tiburtina, Tuscolana) to exit 30 (Fiumicino Airport) in the direction of TUSCOLANA-ANAGNINA-APPIA-ARDEATINA.
